Our fencers are nationally ranked and consistently do well at local and national tournaments. We are an accredited member of the USFA (United States Fencing Association).  For the old hand at fencing or the new fencer, TFA has a place for you. We have group classes for beginners or individual lessons for advanced fencers. Call or e-mail for more information.

Final 2009 -2010 Season Medal Count

There is no arguing with the results: TFA absolutely rocked this season! Three Bronze medalists and two Top Eight finishes at Summer Nationals, seventeen nationally ranked fencers: three of them in two events. This proves that we have the talent and coaching of a world class Academy. Great job to our fencers and Coach Boyko!

2010-11 USFA Membership

All 2010 USFA memberships expired with the end of the 2009-10 fencing season. In order to be eligible to compete in any USFA sanctioned tournament, you will need to renew  your membership. This can take some time for USFA to process the paperwork and get your new card back to you, so don’t wait. If you don’t have one, you can usually sign up at the tournament, but this leaves you at the mercy of the tournament organizer. You never know how soon they will turn in the paperwork. Doing it yourself ahead of time saves a lot of stress. Tip: Rayna and Boyko are very good about sending in the paperwork, so you are ok with a TFA tourney. Plus, you have them right there to bug and pester (politely) if they don’t. It’s kind of hard to put pressure on someone across the state via e-mail when they don’t answer. I would still opt for doing the membership ahead of time. The membership folks at USFA are very responsive when you need help.
