Welcome to Tampa Fencing Academy!

We are Tampa Bay’s premier competitive fencing academy. Our goal is to train and nurture fencers of all ages to fence at the highest possible level desired, from recreational fencing to Olympic team tryouts. Our fencers are nationally ranked and consistently do well at local and national tournaments. We are an accredited member of the USFA (United States Fencing Association).  For the old hand at fencing or the new fencer, TFA has a place for you. We have group classes for beginners or individual lessons for advanced fencers. Call or e-mail for more information.

2010-11 USFA Athlete’s Handbook

USFA has posted the latest version (3rd Rev, 10 Feb11) of the Athlete's Handbook on the USFA website. Included in this year’s edition are the updated age requirements and an expanded appendix with reference tables, reference documents, and 2010-11 forms. This is an important item to have handy. You should take time to look through so you will know the rules, responsibilities, and requirements for fencers, parents, coaches, and tournament staff.

Deadline for Summer Nationals and NAC July Registration is May 9!!

All fencers wanting to go to Summer Nationals / July NAC need to register by May 9. You can register online at  usfencing.org

Cost $50 per event plus $70 registration fee

TFA Summer Fencing Camp

TFA Summer camp is here again! The camp is Monday – Friday from 2 – 5pm for Beginners and Competitive fencers  and runs for 4 weeks: June 6 – 10, June 13 – 17, June 20 – 24, and June 27 – June 29. Includes individual and group lessons, conditioning, footwork, tactics, drills, and bouting. Cost is $120/week for beginners, $150/week for   competitive fencers (2 individual lessons included), and $30/day (individual lessons not included).
